ListingFinds is a classifieds, specialty items and community marketplace that connects buyers and sellers. This page explains how to trade safely, how to report a suspicious listing, and what ListingFinds does — and does not — promise.

Scam prevention

  • Meet in a public, well-lit place and bring someone with you when you can.
  • Inspect the item before you pay.
  • Never send deposits, advance payments, gift cards or wire transfers to strangers.
  • Be wary of prices that look too good to be true, pressure to pay quickly, or sellers who will not let you inspect the item.
  • Keep your personal contact details private until you choose to share them, and never share passwords or payment codes with anyone.

How to report a suspicious listing

If a listing looks suspicious, fraudulent or unsafe, report it on our Report a Listing page or via the Contact page. Please include the listing title and link and a short description of the concern. Reports are reviewed by ListingFinds moderation, and listings that breach our rules may be removed.

Moderation

ListingFinds moderates listings and reports, and may remove listings or accounts that breach its terms. Moderation does not mean every listing has been checked in person, and it does not guarantee that a seller, item or transaction is genuine.

Refunds and payments

ListingFinds does not hold funds or payments for transactions between buyers and sellers. Payment and refund arrangements are between buyer and seller unless a separate paid plan or service states otherwise. What ListingFinds does not guarantee

ListingFinds does not guarantee transactions and does not verify every seller. No verification indicators are shown at listing level at present, and none should be assumed from a listing’s appearance.
